That Burning Smell is Me Thinking…

I am thankful that I have snow boots, but they leak. I bought them last year and they still look good, except for the cracks that formed on the upper part where they flex. When I step in deep snow, it gets in and it is really cold. Then it melts and my feet become wet and cold! It’s sad because I don’t have any money to get new boots.

So I have had to be resourceful. I wrapped the leaky part in electrical tape and that didn’t work too well on one of them. I think the other has a leak somewhere else also.

Next I am going to try bike tire patches….

I was really sick over Thanksgiving and I flew back home Monday on a small regional jet plane in turbulance. I must have looked green when the plane landed, I almost lost my muffin during the desent.

So all last week I was recovering from sickness. I was also sad that I didn’t get to see my neice, Ila, and my grandmother. It seems that my cousins didn’t want to go to grandma’s house because it is full of stuff and in slight disrepair. So my grandmother didn’t want to come out to my cousin’s house because it is too far (I don’t blame her). Since I don’t drive, I just couldn’t borrow a car and go to where she was. I really want to see her, but I haven’t been able to.

So I am learning that family stuff can get really complicated.
