Too Stinkin’ Busy to Watch TV!
In December I moved into a place. It’s kind of nice, but I thought I would have a hard time getting along without a TV. I didn’t own the TV in my old place, my roommate did. So at first I struggled to get reception on the old worn out TV in the living room, but I soon gave up. Then I looked into getting a TV receiver for my computer; I just couldn’t justify the cost and hassle. So I gave up TV viewing. From January 2005 ’til now (September 2005), I have probably watched a total of 10 hours of television.
Lately I have discovered that I am too busy to watch TV. It is kind of weird. I stopped watching and soon I was filling my time with projects. I have gotten a lot done and I have a pile of more stuff to do. In order to start living my life, I had to free up the time that I normally would have spent in front of the tube.
